"To see the world,
things dangerous to come to,
to see behind walls,
draw closer,
to find each other,
and to feel.
That is the purpose of life.”

James Thurber

A photo which does not exist.

A failed polaroid still processing

(en Français dans la suite)

This photo was, but does not exist. This photo appeared but is no more, it arose to vanish. This photo emerged from a shot which was never meant. This was the most beautiful abstract I’ve ever made, because I never made it. I took a picture of the sky, of the city, of a building, one morning. My camera triggered, the chemical process happened, and for 10 minutes, it was the most beautiful thing in my world. But chemicals do not stop for beauty, they did their duty. And from beautiful blue, my polaroid turned to creme white, and went to the bin. It’s a photo which does not exist.
